What is an HLS kit?
A suspension with a hydraulic lift system (HLS for short) allows the body to be raised by up to 30 millimetres at the touch of a button while driving. This allows you to overcome obstacles such as speed bumps or steep driveways without causing damage to your car. You can activate the HLS up to a speed of 80 km/h.
KW HLS Evolution: The revised lift system
Our revised KW hydraulic suspension has a smaller pump unit. This means it can be installed in the engine compartment without major modifications. We have also been able to save 3-4 kilograms in weight and have revised the solenoid valve. This is now less susceptible to contamination. The KW HLS Evolution can be attached to existing mounting points using a slightly modified original bracket.
HLS 2 vs. HLS 4
On the HLS 2, we have only installed the lift cylinders on the front axle dampers. This has a positive effect on the slope angle. With the HLS 4, on the other hand, there is a lift cylinder on all KW coilover struts, which ensures that the entire vehicle can be raised by up to 45 mm. This always depends on the respective vehicle application. If we do not offer an HLS system for your vehicle, you can also send us an individual enquiry for an HLS Uni Kit.

The HLS is supplied with a parts certificate. Approval and subsequent registration in the vehicle documents are possible without any problems. Our parts certificate contains precise vehicle classifications, requirements, and instructions for a straightforward installation. With KW, you are always on the safe side. We guarantee tested quality, technical clarity and 100% reliability of all vehicle components.
INOX Line
Durable corrosion resistance - over several years. KW suspension struts are made of high-quality stainless steel. In contrast to other solutions, no coatings can be removed when adjusting the lowering. This guarantees 100% corrosion resistance and an unlimited service life.
Composite spring plate
The height-adjustable KW spring plate is made from a resistant polyamide composite material. In contrast to anodized aluminium spring plates, the polyamide composite material prevents possible oxidation. The combination of INOX Line and stainless steel inlay ensures the long-term functionality of the height adjustment.
Hydraulic lifting
With the KW Hydraulic Lift System (HLS for short), the body can be raised at the touch of a button, even while driving, for more ground clearance. Obstacles such as speed bumps or steep car park ramps can be easily overcome thanks to HLS from KW.
