ST Suspension FAQ
The three ST Coilovers ST X, ST XA and ST XTA always allow the same seamless lowering within the context of the respective parts certificate. While the ST X does not have in rebound adjustable dampers, the ST XA and ST XTA Coilovers feature dampers that can be made more sporty or more comfortable with the integrated rebound adjustment. The adjustable dampers have a total of 16 click stages. In addition, the ST XTA front axle struts are always delivered with a two-stage racing sport spring system and aluminum unibal top mounts. When possible, depending on the vehicles design, the top mounts of the XTA can be adjusted in camber and/or caster.
The ST and KW Coilovers differ in quality and the housing materials and technologies used, there are no overlapping products. Most obvious is certainly the housings, which for KW are typically exclusively made of stainless steel or aluminum, while ST uses the common standard galvanized steel housings. With the KW dampers exclusively used for ST, only the rebound damping forces of the ST XA and ST XTA can be set with 16 clicks.
All ST Coilovers are manufactured directly at KW automotive GmbH facility in Fichtenberg, Germany.
Individual components such as replacement dampers, elastomer bump stops, dust shields, springs, top mount components or even complete struts can be ordered at any time.
All of our products set a very high standard in quality and durability. However, even with our products, a defect cannot be entirely ruled out.

The coilover suspension and the technical component report, installation documentation, spanner wrench for adjusting the ride height, an ST rebound adjustment knob for adjusting the damping forces as well as the associated adjustment manual if the ST Coilover suspension features adjustable dampers.

We always recommend the setting of the specified track and camber values of the respective vehicle manufacturer for your car.
